What do you think of a pool table in a cafe?

I’m starting a coffee shop in a small NJ town. My fiancee and I want a unique space that’s fun for the family but won’t turn away the business crowd (lawyers, attorneys, bankers, etc.), which works nearby. In addition to coffee, other non-alcoholic beverages, baked goods and sandwiches will be available– and also free WiFi. We like the thought of board games being available and some larger attractions like a pool table and shuffle board (you cannot find these games anywhere in the town). Would you find a pool table out of place in a cafe? Any other suggestions?

Maybe have a game room in it, that won’t be out of place. Make sure there are kid games too if its a family restaurant

I think that is kind of a cool idea. I remember a coffee house ran buy a “hippie couple” that had a pool table. It was a great place. Kind of a throwback to the 60s

i don’t know what the coffee shops are like in your area, but where i’m from (Idaho) all of the coffee shops are pretty modern and almost lounge like, some even have decks that look over the lake. but i wouldn’t think a pool table would be bad in a Coffee shop as long as it wasn’t front and center and was kinda tucked away.

An amusement centre with coffee bar to make but remember am just one voice.
An amusement centre with coffee bar facilities available would find that kind of thing perhaps you would find that kind of thing perhaps you would find that hard call to sit down and relax and not be surrounded by.

The initial investment it for that setting pool tables and their equipment are hard to disappear from public places.
