How do i get the wrinkles out of my pool table felt?

Hey there had to dissasemble my pool table for awhile and put it back together. Only thing is when i rolled out my felt it had some wrinkles in it from being folded up. can i iron it once on the slate? or maybe steam it? they are minor wrinkles, most of it dissapears when stretched across the table. Could use any advice. Thanks..
