Should you use bondo to seal the seams of a slate pool table?

I have a 2 piece, 7′ slate pool table. Friend said auto bondo was good to use to adhere the two sides of slate together. Is this true?

      The correct way to seal seams dont try to bond the slate pieces together.

      The pool table down use beeswax.

      Like everyone else said. Beeswax is what you use.
