      A good rule of thumb is to take the length of a stick + (1/2)the length of that same stick, and measure that distance out from each bar of the table. Unless you want holes in your walls…

      Depends on what type of pool table you want

      7′ tables
      57″ cue 12′9″ x 16′0″ room

      8′ tables
      57″ cue 13′2″ x 16′10″ room

      9′ tables
      57″ cue 13′8″ x 17′10″ room

      8 feet tables are considered to be standard
